Trish Cope
Business Owner
Hi everyone, I’m Trish - welcome to Our Wig-gle Secret.
The work I do here is very personal to me — I’ve always been someone who genuinely cares about people and the way they feel in themselves. Helping others feel comfortable, confident, and supported is something I’ve naturally been drawn to, especially during those more vulnerable moments in life.
I’m a big believer in kindness, honesty, and creating a space where you can just be yourself. Whether that looks like having a chat, sharing a laugh, or simply sitting in a space where you feel understood — that’s what matters most to me.
I understand that for many women, walking into something like this can feel overwhelming or even a little scary, and that’s something I never take lightly. From the moment you arrive, my focus is on helping you feel at ease, truly listened to, and fully supported.
Outside of this, I’m just like you — someone who values connection, warmth, and making others feel seen. I love getting to know each person who walks through my door and creating a space where you feel cared for, supported, and like yourself again.
How it Started
My journey began in 2010 when I heard the words no one ever expects: “You have cancer.”
At the time, the options and support available for wigs felt incredibly limited, and the experience left me wishing there was something better for women going through hair loss.
A few years later, I began noticing hair loss around the front of my ears. What started small gradually progressed, and I did everything I could to style around it—until I could no longer hide it.
After stepping out of what I now call my “denial bubble,” I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia (FFA). This meant my hair would not grow back, as my immune system was attacking the hair follicles and causing scarring.
What followed was a journey of research, learning, and ultimately purpose. From that experience, Our Wig-gle Secret was born—with the hope of creating a more supportive, understanding, and empowering experience for other women navigating hair loss, especially within the Central Queensland community.
